Shut the Front Door 2012, it's 2013!
Peace out 2012!, 2013 is here and so is my new 'vent' system.
I intend on using this new journaling format as a way to let go of miscellaneous (stressful) items and non-issues that tend to keep my mind occupied while letting my family and friends in on a little more of my life; the pretty cool stuff and the bu-shit. Ready? Let's go!
At the moment, I feel like I'm stuck in a bit of deju-vu, with medical crap. Some new symptoms, some old and supposedly taken care of... We'll see how all this pans out. If you know me, and I'm pretty sure you do since you're reading this, you should know that I am typically a pretty patient and tolerant person but right now I'm so fed up with doctor appointments, rude and incompetent office staff and billers, and the general hassle of missing work and/or making up time to deal with all of it. Ugh!
Let's move on, to something more positive perhaps.
My fam is doing pretty well.
The hubby is the new director for Barberton Youth Football. He's very excited about his new adventure and I'm proud of him for it. It's a big commitment and will promote some new challenges for us but I'm certain it'll work out.
Lil' Big Man is doing pretty good too. Grades are pretty decent and is immensely enjoying his new prizes acquired from Christmas.
Frosty, she's ornery as always. She could still benefit from a little more rest to catch up from Winter Break, lots of late nights don't bode too well for kindergartners!
All in all, the new year is off to a fairly good start. I didn't make any resolutions, never do actually but I do have hopes that perhaps this new year will bring me and my family a fantastic twelve months. Some parts I have more control of than others but I'll do my best to see this year is better than the last.
Good enough for now...
